Passengers can board any one of the T-Star vehicles for a cozy two-hour ride around the city. Take a listen to holiday carols while your professional chauffeur navigates the way. Request sparkling cider or champagne to add to your experience. Passengers of stretch vehicles may also request chocolate truffles from a local chocolatier.

Note: All tours include a ride through Shelby Farm’s Starry Nights.

Discounted rates are available Sunday – Thursday. All tours must begin at 6:00 PM or later and conclude by 10:00 PM. Dinner packages are also available.

Discounted Sunday – Thursday Rates:

Sedan/SUV (up to 7 passengers): $120

All Stretch Vehicles (up to 20 passengers): $275

Party Bus (up to 30 passengers): $425

Hopefully this list of four questions to ask before you make a limousine reservation will help you separate the “for real” from the “faux/phony.”  Don’t fret – we went ahead and provided our answer to each of the questions (in bold)…. For your convenience, of course.

1. Do you and your drivers have the proper paperwork?

   Any legally operating limousine business should have 1) a business license, 2) insurance that reflects permission to transport passengers for financial gain, 3) certification from the DOT, and 4) individual licenses for each driver that reflect permission to  transport passengers as a profession.  These are minimum requirements and should be made available freely.  Be sure to check the expiration date on any certifications and insurance certificates.  Additional requests can be made for Better Business Bureau affiliation, trade industry membership, and chamber affiliation.  Usually, if a business takes steps to ensure you’re comfortable before you book, it’s very likely that they’ll do the same  on the day of your reservation.  T-Star Limousines has current documentation of all of the above, plus membership in the BBB, United Motor Coach Association, National Limousine Association, Collierville Chamber of Commerce, Memphis Chamber of Commerce, and Memphis Conventions & Visitors Bureau.

2. Will I receive a limousine (or sedan) that resembles the ones on your website?

   This seems like it should be a guarantee, right? Wrong.  Even our biggest competitors use “stock” images, or pictures taken by the car manufacturer, as their gallery photos. Imagine how frustrated you would be to reserve a sparkling late-model sedan, only to be picked up in a 12 year old dirty ride.  Some call it advertising, we call it misleading your customers.  That’s why all of our images in our gallery are the exact limousines, sedans, SUVs, and buses in our fleet.  We keep our vehicles in a climate-controlled garage and detail them before each and every pick-up.

3. Is gratuity already included?  What about other hidden charges?

   When your chauffeur goes above and beyond your expectations of superb quality service, it’s appropriate to tip him (or her).  While some include gratuity as an added “convenience,” our clients have never suggested that mandatory gratuity was a great thing.  We listened and our chauffeurs know that gratuity is 100% optional.  If you appreciate the great job your chauffeur is doing, we encourage you to tip.  If you found areas where service could have been better, let us know and we’ll pass along your “tip”.  In the meantime, when comparing prices, ask if listed prices include fuel surcharges or other fees.  Our flat rate pricing means NO hidden charges on your final bill.

4. Who can I contact after-hours with questions?

   It happens all the time.  Your flight arrives into town several minutes early.  Or, you’re ready to leave the nightclub thirty minutes before your midnight pick-up. Now, you’re stuck trying to figure out how you’re going to contact the dispatch office or your chauffeur.  Be sure that your limousine company of choice provides 24-hour access to an informed member of the reservations department.  Don’t be fooled by calls routed to an answering service; workers have no access to information concerning your reservation.  At T-Star, clients can reach the operations manager or the office manager at any time during the day.  Also, your chauffer’s contact information is provided in the reservation reminder sent to you 24 hours before your pick-up.

We met Tom Mazza, the go-to guy for everything ‘limousine” related. We had a great time chatting with Chris Weiss, the publisher of Limo Digest magazine and the producer of the 2011 Limo Digest Show.  Plus, we networked with some of the industry’s heavy hitters in the larger markets (hello Boston Coach) and made great relationships with potential partners all over the nation (*waves* to Hennessy in Atl).

Let’s not forget the numerous opportunities to learn.  The line-up of seminars and speeches was phenomenal.  We could not have prayed for a better balance between service to customers, developing team morale, and maximizing profits in a luxury industry.  Thanks to everyone involved for putting on such a great show!

Why is this significant? Well, for one – it’s our first time participating in a limousine tradeshow. Two, we strive daily to be the best in performance, service, and technology!

That said, there is a lot that we expect to learn and implement at T-Star Limousines! Our chauffeurs are excited about a lot of the new training and team-building exercises we’ll be implementing after the show, as well!

Limo Digest Magazine did a fantastic job of selecting the topics for this year’s seminars and workshops! Plus, we’re eager to see all of the exotic limousines on the showroom floor!

While all of the guests arrived planning to vie for the grand prize all-expense paid trip (courtesy of Travel Leaders), many were pleasantly surprised to learn about the additional grand prize provided by yours truly! Guests competed to win a $100 gift card to Fleming’s Fine Steakhouse PLUS two free hours of chauffeured sedan service from our “Corporate Cars of Memphis” division! Great food + convenient luxury = MAJOR WIN!

Our two newest additions to the fleet – a luxury 7-passenger Chevrolet Suburban and our popular 30-passenger Ultimate Party Bus – served as a great first impression as guests pulled into the parking lot. After visiting the registration table in the main lobby, guests started the waltz around the showroom with a visit to the first expo booth – ours!

Each guest was given a chance to view our fleet slide show (thanks to our office manager, Cory!) and dig through the treasure chest! The prizes? Free service hours in practically every limo, sedan, and bus… plus the option to simply pull a treat bag filled with candy (and a surprise 10% off coupon!).

We had so much fun networking with the other businesses! I think our operations manager, Donell, said “hi” to everyone there! Our publicist’s Minnie Mouse ears were a  big hit. In keeping with the festive nature of the day, several other businesses donned costumes and Halloween decorations.
